Great is thy faithfulness, O God my Father;
there is no shadow of turning with thee;
thou changest not, thy compassions, they fail not;
as thou hast been thou forever will be.
Great is thy faithfulness! Great is thy faithfulness!
Morning by morning new mercies I see;
all I have needed thy hand hath provided;
great is thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me!
Summer and winter and springtime and harvest,
sun, moon and stars in their courses above
join with all nature in manifold witness
to thy great faithfulness, mercy and love.
Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth
thy own dear presence to cheer and to guide;
strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow,
blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside!

Are you aware the number of countries that want to take over?
Just to name a few, Russia: Trying to restore their empire (the bear was never dead, just hibernating), a potential superpower. China: Strengthening their armies, a potential military superpower. North Korea: Testing hydrogen bombs, advancement for its military ambitions. Iran: With nuclear capabilities. Iran’s stockpile of low-enriched uranium has increased, instead of being significantly reduced, as was required. And anywhere ISIS is…spreading their hatred and evil. It’s tentacles are reaching everywhere, either directed by or inspired by, such as in France, Denmark, Turkey, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Egypt, USA and Canada and many others.
But, the gift of God is eternal life. Romans 6:23, “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
John 14:1–4. Jesus said, “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know.”
He did it to take away our sin and that if we keep his commandments we would have eternal life. John the Baptist first made us aware that Jesus was our saviour when he said “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world!” John 1:29. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” John 3:16-17 These two verses tells more about God and His plan for this world than any other verses in the Bible. God gave the most extravagant thing He could to demonstrate His love for lost humanity. His Son paid the debt for sin and through Jesus all might be saved. This is good news — except for those who do not believe. While God loves everyone not everyone accepts that love.
With war at every doorstep. Terrorists in every nook and cranny looking for opportunities to destroy us and all that we represent. To replace our freedoms with shira law, which means we have no say about how we can live, if we live. Jesus said in Mark 13:5-8, “Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am He,’ and will deceive many. But when you hear of wars and rumours of wars, do not be troubled; for such things must happen, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be earthquakes in various places, and there will be famines and troubles. These are the beginnings of sorrows.” As was recorded by Jesus in the bible, don’t you see these things happening today? Wars and rumours of wars will escalate – either in number or intensity. These armed conflicts will involve both nation-states and ethnic groups. Earthquakes, famines, pestilences and other disasters, all will garner worldwide attention.
We have had heat waves before. We have had ice ages before. We have had floods and droughts before. Man cannot control the weather. Genesis 1 and 2, “In the beginning God (God the Father, Jesus the Son and the Holy Spirit all 3) created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep.” God was and is and will ever be in control over what happens with our world, the earth. Not Man! I’m not saying man hasn’t had a hand in destroying what God has given us, but man has the ability to lie and deceive us into thinking what he says is the way it is. God doesn’t lie or deceive.
Before that absolute peace comes, the Antichrist with violence, destruction and death will come. You will be lied to and cheated out of your rights and the freedoms you have now. You will never own anything again. Unless you accept a mark or chip, buying as much as a loaf of bread will be impossible, money will be useless. Revelation 13:11–18 speaks of a beast of the earth (Antichrist) who comes and performs great signs to deceive men. v. 16, “He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.“ v. 18 “Here is the wisdom...His number is 666.“ Everyone who does not wear this number will be denied the ability to buy or sell. Without access to life‘s necessities, many of these people will die. When Jesus returns, then the absolute peace comes. Life in Christ has a happy ending…and nothing on earth, in heaven, or hell can ever take that away. That is the ultimate peace we can look forward to.
Jesus can keep you from this Armageadon that WILL happen. Wouldn‘t it be better to go up with Him peaceably rather than trying to survive with Satan who in the end will lose and who will be cast into the lake of fire for eternity. It is written 1 Corinthians 15:52, “Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed –– in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet.“ Christians know this as the Rapture. First will be the church–age believers who have died and then the believers who are alive on the earth when Jesus returns. Wouldn‘t you like to be among these lucky people?
Of course, if you are one of those left behind, having to live in the times of the great tribulation, and you become a follower of Christ during these horrid times and you do not accept the mark and perhaps die for your witness to Jesus, He will raise you at the end of the tribulation to serve with Him in the Millennium. But why wait so long? Why not go up the first time before all the anguish begins?
We know not the hour or day Jesus will return, so we must be ready every day. Watching the clouds for his appearance and listening for the trumpet to sound. If we love Him and have Him as our Saviour today, we will know it when we see and hear it.
Romans 8:38-39, “For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
