From the breaking of the dawn To the setting of the sun, I will stand on every promise of Your word. Words of power, strong to save, That will never pass away, I will stand on every promise of Your word. For Your covenant is sure, And on this I am secure, I can stand on every promise of Your word.
When I stumble and I sin, Condemnation pressing in, I will stand on every promise of Your word. You are faithful to forgive, That in freedom I might live, So I stand on every promise of Your word. Guilt to innocence restored: You remember sins no more! So I’ll stand on every promise of Your word.
When I’m faced with anguished choice, I will listen for Your voice, And I’ll stand on every promise of Your word. Through this dark and troubled land You will guide me with your hand As I stand on every promise of Your word. And you’ve promised to complete Every work begun in me, So I’ll stand on every promise of Your word.
Hope that lifts me from despair, Love that casts out every fear, As I stand on every promise of Your word. Not forsaken, not alone, For the Comforter has come, And I stand on every promise of Your word. Grace sufficient, grace for me, Grace for all who will believe, We will stand on every promise of Your word.

A dictionary is a book which tell us what words mean,
where they come from, how they are used.
But the Word of God gives us a deeper meaning of words and how they are applied to our very being.
God’s Words are strong words. God’s Words are everlasting. God’s Words are truthful.
God’s Words are Alive!
Is preservation or deliverance from harm, ruin, or loss, deliverance from sin and its consequences. When we give up our sin and ask for forgiveness, Jesus offers us deliverance from the ways of the world we live in today. The ways of the world are pushing and pulling us into the ways men want us to go and not in the way God wants us to go. The ways of the world are slowly brainwashing us into thinking we don’t need God in anything. That we will be provided with, all that we need, in everything that we do, as long as we are following their way of doing and thinking. Romans 10:8-10, “…The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.” The moment we truly receive Christ as Saviour we are eternally saved. Once we are saved from the power of sin we should grow in godliness. Don’t forget though it’s an on-going growth that will change us and our habits through this life to the next. It will shape and transform us day by day. Only Jesus can remove us from this worlds harm, because when we follow His plan for us we become residents of a heavenly world and not of this world. This is SALVATION.
Is the action of saving or being saved from sin, error, or evil. Jesus redeemed us by His dying on the cross. He took all our sin on Himself to save us from the death that we deserve for our sins. Jesus offered forgiveness to those who took His life, but in doing this He gave us life by the opportunity to follow Him, whereby we receive His grace. Grace is what God gives us when we don’t deserve it. Isaiah 53:5“But he was wounded for our transgressions, and he was crushed for our iniquities, and the punishment that made us whole was upon Him, and by His bruises we are healed.“53:12“… For he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.” The phrase “by His bruises we are healed” refers to the punishment Jesus Christ suffered—floggings and beatings with fists that were followed by His agonizing death on a cross—to take upon Himself all of the sins of all people who believe Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior. This is REDEMPTION.
Is the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles; moral uprightness, being whole and undivided, integrity. Righteous people speak the truth, understanding that what a person says always comes back to them like a boomerang. Proverbs 13:6“Righteousness guards him whose way is blameless, but wickedness overthrows the sinner.”v:21“Evil pursues sinners, but to the righteous, good shall be repaid.” When we follow Christ, our way of living is changed. The standards by which we live improve. We become better people. When we love someone we want to do things for them and in loving Christ the old way of doing things, perhaps lying or cheating or even accepting things that we know are not moral is changed and we don’t do or accept such things in our way of living any more. Matthew 5:6, “Blesssed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled.” It’s an exchange that takes place between Christ and you. Christ takes away the old ways of doing life and swaps it out for a brighter and more fulfilled life. When you seek Him and His ways, with all your heart, Christ will be there. But remember that without Christ, the good, honest and moral upright acts that we do isn’t sufficient for a life in eternity with Him. On account of what the Lord Jesus endured on our behalf, we have received this precious gift of RIGHTEOUSNESS.
Is the action of returning something to a former owner, place, or condition, to fix, mend, refurbish. We are broken pots. We need to be mended, made whole again, as when we were first born. The ways of the world have tarnished us and marred us and scarred us. This was not what God intended for us. He always wanted us to be pristine, the way He first made us. 2 Corinthians 5:17,“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” This is why God sent Jesus to us. This why Jesus died and shed His blood for us. That through His blood we are made whole. Psalm 51:10, “Create inme a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me”. We become regenerated and born again, with a new clean heart. If you’re not washed as pure as snow by Christ, you don’t stand a snowball’s chance at escaping hell. No human means can wash out the stain of sin. None of our efforts, sacrifices, rituals, good deeds, or prayers are sufficient to remove the scarlet stain of sin on our hearts. Only a supernatural, almighty power can remove this blotch. Ephesians 1:7, “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.”Who is Him…Jesus, of course. This is how we are restored back to our Father in heaven. This is RESTORATION.
Is a modest or low view of one’s own importance, meekness, gentleness.Matthew 5:5, “Blesssed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.” Humility isn’t groveling in front of others or being weak or passive. That’s not God’s message to us. 1 Peter 5:5 “Clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”God says when you are humble, you are free from pride and arrogance. You don’t need to stand up for yourself in an angry manner. And you don’t have to win every argument. Proverbs 15:1“A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.”Once again you can’t put your trust in Christ without humility. Humility doesn’t mean that you are a wimp and you have to let people take advantage of you. It is a fruit of the Spirit that is inside all believers. Check your attitude and check your motives for doing certain things. Jesus came to us from a humble beginning, a stable. All through His ministry on earth Jesus never took credit for anything. What He did for others was quietly done, without fanfare. Micah 6:8“He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.”This is HUMILITY.
Is becoming holy or sacred. To become more like Jesus. Acts 20:32 “set apart for particular use in a special purpose or work and to make holy or sacred.” To sanctify someone or something is to set that person or thing apart for the use intended by its designer. A human being is sanctified, therefore, when he or she lives according to God’s design and purpose. Moreover, God calls human beings to be holy as holy as he is holy Peter 1:15-16,“But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.” Human beings ultimately cannot sanctify themselves. The Father sanctifies by the Spirit and in the name of Christ. 1 Corinthians 6:11, “But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.”Romans 12:1, 2 “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”Galatians 2:20“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”This is SANCTIFICATION.
Make Jesus your centre.1 Corinthians 1:30, “But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption—.” You see, that without God the Father giving us Jesus…we have nothing…we need Him more than ever these days. It is Jesus and Jesus alone who then gives us our salvation, redemption, righteousness, restoration, humility and sanctification. These major big words in God’s Word are priceless. WHY? BECAUSE John 3:16-18, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” This is the indisputable love of God the Father through Jesus and only Jesus. And it truly is wonderful!
