If human hearts are often tender,
And human minds can pity know,
If human love is touched with splendor,
And human hands compassion show.
Then how much more shall God our Father
In love forgive, in love forgive!
Then how much more shall God our Father
Our wants supply, and none deny!
If sometimes men can live for others,
And sometimes give where gifts are spurned,
If sometimes treat their foes as brothers,
And love where love is not returned.
If men will often share their gladness,
If men respond when children cry,
If men can feel each other’s sadness,
Each other’s tears attempt to dry.

An election was had…and the people voted…and they chose the next President of the United States…or Prime Minister of Canada.
We both have, basically, two sides…America has Conservatives and Democrats…and Canada has Conservatives and Liberals (and maybe New Democrats).
People are calling each other names such as racist, nazis, liars, murderers. These people haven’t looked at themselves while doing this or they just might settle down and rethink just how they really look. They are so filled with anger and mad they just can’t see straight. They say they want what’s good for the country…but spewing such hate and evil is not good for the country. A country divided against itself cannot stand. “But Jesus knew their thoughts, and said to them: “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand.” Matthew 12:25
God commands unity among believers because, once conflict enters the midst of any assembly or entity, productivity and usefulness inevitably grind to a halt and the whole organization is weakened and becomes vulnerable to attack. As Jesus said, “Any kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and a house divided against itself will fall.” a kingdom, a country, a city that is at cross-purposes with itself will fall.
The American nation is deeply divided over President Trump (and if Canada doesn’t be careful, we are not too far behind). So much so that the nation is crashing down around them. But it’s not Mr. Trump’s fault. The majority voted him in, the democratic way. Has no one realized that God is in control. That God makes presidents and kings. “Blessed be the name of God forever and ever, for wisdom and might are His. And He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and raises up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding. He reveals deep and secret things; He knows what is in the darkness, and light dwells with Him.” Daniel 2:20-22 God is giving America a second chance! America’s President Trump is doing what America needs because the direction it was going, was going to put it into complete ruin. A lot of good is being done, if they would only take the plank out of their eye. Jesus said, “And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye?Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me remove the speck from your eye’; and look, a plank is in your own eye? Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.” Matthew 7:3-5
But there are people who want a “one world government”. They want people to be demoralized, as rebuking them in a restaurant or at a gas station or shopping mart. The Bible says this ‘one world government’ will come, but in the interim, God is giving people a chance to come back to Him. God’s love is not in these people because their hearts have hardened. Just as the Bible says they will be. We are in the latter days, one side of humanity is trying to get rid and destroy the other side. This is what Satan wants. Satan wants anarchy (a state of disorder) and nihilism (the rejection of all religious and moral principles, often in the belief that life is meaningless). Their hearts are hardened. Jesus repeated what Isaiah said “For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, and their eyes have closed, lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, so that I should heal them.” Matthew 13:15 And the fate of those who never hear, “But in accordance with your hardness and your impenitent heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God.” Romans 2:5
But the Good News is…
“Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity!” Psalm 133:1 This is God’s love.
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness.” Galatians 5:22 This is God’s love.
“Live in harmony with one another. Do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly. Never be wise in your own sight.” Romans 12:16 This is God’s love.
The author of Hebrews writes, “Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.” Hebrews 3:15 and even better, “Now is the time of God’s favour, now is the day of salvation.” 2 Corinthians 6:2.
Christians hear me out…as in the days of Elijah so it is today. “Hear me, O Lord, hear me, that this people may know that You are the Lord God, and that You have turned their hearts back to You again.” 1 Kings 18:37
If you are with God and He is with you “YOU ARE A MAJORITY”, therein lies the test of faith. Don’t hesitate to ask God to be with you in a world of chaos…wondrous things can happen, maybe even these hard hearts can be turned …BACK TO GOD.
“YOU” be the Love of God for those around you!
