The chimes of time ring out the news
Another day is through
Some one slipped and fell,
Was that someone you?
You may have longed for added strength
Your courage to renew
Do not be disheartened
I have news for you.

It is no secret what God can do,
What he has done for others,
He’ll do for you.
With arms wide open,
He’ll pardon you
It is no secret what God can do.

There is no night, for in His light
You’ll never walk alone.
You’ll always feel at home wherever you may roam,
There is no power can conquer you,
While God is on your side.
Take Him at His promise,
Don’t run away and hide.

It is no secret what God can do,
What he has done for others,
He’ll do for you.
With arms wide open,
He’ll pardon you.
It is no secret what God can do.

A secret is something        which is not to be heard by others.

Secrets have a bad reputation amongst humans.     If 3 people know a secret it can only be kept if two of them are dead.

The Navy has always told sailors, “loose lips sink ships”

If you have a secret and you tell someone else,   why would you expect them to keep it, if you can’t?

When someone is accused of betraying a confidence, it is often said that

“I just couldn’t help myself”.

But not so with Jesus.

He’s not a secret that should be kept,

but to let everyone know!

The gospel of Jesus was never intended to be kept a secret.  Actually Jesus wanted the news of His birth, death and resurrection to be spread everywhere.  “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.  Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen.”  Matthew 28:18-20   This is the Great Commission and it has not changed since Jesus said it.

When Jesus was preaching in Galilee the people there wanted Him to stay not wanting Him to leave.  But Jesus said He wanted everyone to hear of the kingdom of God everywhere.  “I must preach the kingdom of God to the other cities also, because for this purpose I have been sent.”  Luke 4:43

After Jesus had risen on that glorious Sabbath day He appeared to His eleven disciples and said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.”  Mark 16:15

As it is written in God’s Word, it’s no secret what Jesus has done in healing the sick, the lame, the blind.  Many would come from far and wide to see his miracles.  And it’s no secret that the miracles of today can only be by the grace and mercy of God through His Son Jesus Christ.

So it is with Christians around the world, the changes made in their lives through the power of the love of Jesus, it is no secret that they shout it from everywhere.  People who thought they weren’t worth saving from drugs, alcohol, stealing, even murder.  People who lost all hope of life with depression, anxiety and fear.  People with diseases and sickness where man made cures are lost on, but God’s grace can still cure.  These people are now telling by their lips and actions that Jesus is a game changer, that what He’s done for them He’ll do for you.  Let it out with a shout…Christ for the whole wide world.

“We’ve a story to tell to the nations, that shall turn their hearts to the right.  A story of truth and mercy, a story of peace and light.  For the darkness shall turn to dawning and the dawning to noonday bright.  And Christ’s great kingdom shall come to earth, the Kingdom of love and light.” Hymn by H. Earnest Nichol (1862-1928)

We were dead:- and just like Jesus, because of Jesus, we are resurrected, we were lost but are alive to tell what Jesus has done.

So why should this be a secret …………IT SHOULDN’T!!!!!

If millions of Christians around the world
