The perfect wisdom of our God
Revealed in all the universe:
All things created by His hand
And held together at His command.
He knows the mysteries of the seas,
The secrets of the stars are His;
He guides the planets on their way
And turns the earth through another day.
The matchless wisdom of His ways
That mark the path of righteousness;
His word a lamp unto my feet,
His Spirit teaching and guiding me.
And O the mystery of the cross,
That God should suffer for the lost,
So that the fool might shame the wise,
And all the glory might go to Christ!
O grant me wisdom from above,
To pray for peace and cling to love,
And teach me humbly to receive
The sun and rain of Your sovereignty.
Each strand of sorrow has a place
Within this tapestry of grace;
So through the trials I choose to say:
“Your perfect will in Your perfect way.”

Most things humans do requires tools — all of which are inanimate objects. They have no life or mind of their own. They are used by a human facilitator.
Take AI for instance, it can be used for positive or negative ends, depending entirely on the wisdom of the one using it.
I think for the most part, I could be wrong, but AI is a compilation of information from humans to be used by other humans for the purpose of receiving information or knowledge of the in-putters. How we use this knowledge can serve us with good ends or not so good ends, depending on the wisdom of the user.
The question is what kind of information are we consuming? I daresay that only a small minority of the flood of content that washes over us is positive, uplifting or instructive, not to mention biblically based. The majority of it is generated by the world, putting us into a distracted state which effects our living.
Solomon in Proverbs 8:33-36, gave us an observation about money what he could or couldn’t to with it. Money, possibly as AI, is limited for many things, but it cannot ultimately protect, preserve or provide life. “Hear instruction and be wise, and do not disdain it. Blessed is the man who listens to me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors. For whoever finds me finds life, and obtains favor from the Lord; but he who sins against me wrongs his own soul; All those who hate me love death.” God appeared to Solomon and gave him the opportunity to ask for anything he desired. What did Solomon desire more than all else? Wisdom. Not gold or long life, wisdom. Wisdom is paramount. It is great to be smart and have knowledge, but more valuable to have the wisdom to apply it appropriately. Desire wisdom!
Knowledge of God’s words can give us wisdom, which in turn gives us life. Proverbs 8:35 tells us, “For whoever finds me finds life, and obtains favor from the LORD.” We face problems and pressures of life all the time and the best place to find answers is in God and His Word.
We cannot navigate a chaotic world without the wisdom that comes from Christ. When you don’t know what to do, don’t go to AI — Go to God and His Word and:
,Ask for guidance Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” God only wants the best for you and His ways are higher than your ways, so why not trust Him.
Search His Word, Proverbs 8:8, “All the words of my mouth are with righteousness;
Nothing crooked or perverse is in them.” God’s wisdom are truth and not one is unreasonable or unhelpful.
Claim His wisdom, James 1:5, “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.“ God will never deny you His wisdom. He will give you what you need midst the confusing circumstances you face, generously.
This will be the knowledge you can apply time and time again for all your life. Knowledge is the gathering of the facts but wisdom is what you do with it, judgement, discernment and making the right decisions that honour God.
When it comes to wisdom no one gets to the end of it. There is always more wisdom, more to learn. Be open to learning new things. Scripture tells us that wisdom is better than gold! As Christians, we can gain knowledge through the study of God’s word. James 3:17 tells us, “But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.”
Here are some Bible verses about knowledge:
Proverbs 1:7 (NKJV), “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, But fools despise wisdom and instruction.”
Proverbs 2:6 (NKJV), “For the LORD gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding.”
Proverbs 18:15 (ESV), “An intelligent heart acquires knowledge, and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge.”
Hosea 4:6 (NKJV), “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.”
2 Peter 3:18 (NKJV), “But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”
Romans 11:33 (NKJV), “Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out!”
John 8:12 (NIV), “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
People are curious. They’re respectful, but they haven’t made the links to Jesus, to the resurrection and the hope of the Good News that only Jesus brings. Wisdom speaks to our hearts. The blessing of knowledge becomes a curse when we twist it or use it in an unhealthy way. The only right place to turn is, God’s Word, to learn about knowledge and wisdom and how to apply them to life. “According to your word [O Lord], teach me knowledge and good judgment.” Psalm 119:65-66, (NIV).
If you don’t know Jesus but would like to start a journey with Him, ask Him into your heart by praying this little prayer.
Open your Bible to the Gospels (first 4 books of the New Testament) and read about Him, get to know Him, get to know about what He did for you. Keep searching. Pray that the knowledge and wisdom of God will fill your life in wonderous ways. It’s way better than asking AI.
May God Bless You on this journey.
